About Dr. Gauranga Saikia
Dr. Gauranga Saikia is a leading Minimal Access, Gastrointestinal, Laparoscopic & Bariatric Surgeon based in Gurugram, with over two decades of overall surgical experience and more than a decade focused specifically on advanced minimally invasive surgery. He is currently Director & Senior Consultant in the Department of Minimal Access, Bariatric and General Surgery, associated with Miracles Apollo Hospital, and also runs his specialist practice at MEDSARC Advanced Superspeciality Clinics, Sector 39, Gurugram.
His journey began with an MBBS from Gauhati Medical College, followed by a DNB in General Surgery and an FNB in Minimal Access Surgery from the National Board of Examinations. He has since trained through advanced fellowships spanning bariatric & metabolic surgery, colorectal surgery, hernia surgery and abdominal wall reconstruction — with a special interest in Single Incision Laparoscopic Surgery (SILS) and scarless gallbladder surgery, shaped by his years at Fortis Memorial Research Institute and Max Super Speciality Hospital, Saket.
